AWARDING CRITERIA |
For the Professional Designation to be awarded, professionals must comply with the following minimum requirements: |
Underlying Registered Qualification or Part Qualification: |
Matric.
University entry.
Registration with the SACSSP from 2nd year level.
Exposed to experiential learning as from 2nd year level.
Taking of oath at 2nd year.

Exit Level Outcomes of the qualification bear 530 Credits. |
Experiential Learning or Experience |
Experiential learning as from 2nd year. |
Competency Assessment |
1. Foreign nationals expected to write assignments and be exposed to oral exam/ assessment.
2. Practitioner must submit Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
3. Practitioners who wish to qualify as a specialist should submit POEs and be exposed to an assessment. |

This Designation may not be awarded through Recognition of Prior Learning. |
RETAINING CRITERIA |
In order to ensure the currency of professional knowledge and to retain the Professional Designation, the professional must comply with the following minimum requirements: |
Code of Conduct |
Members must adhere to the Professional Body Codes of Conduct and Ethics. |
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) |
CPD policy requires practitioners to obtain 20 CPD points. |
Fees |
Ensure that the annual membership fee is paid. |
