| DESCRIPTION: |
A registered Acupuncturist is a complementary healthcare practitioner diagnosing and treating patients
based on the philosophical approach of yin and yang. Acupuncture falls within the ambit of Chinese
Medicine, viewing health and sickness in terms of the human body's harmonies and disharmonies. In
an acupuncture treatment, acupuncture needles are inserted at specific points on the human body that
would be appropriate for that particular condition or symptom. Acupuncture is a method of accessing
and harmonising the human body's natural flow of energy in order to restore health. |
